Welcome everyone to the John and Hui Leng’s Wedding Blog. Today we begin planning for their Big Day, which is going to be in 6 months time. We have a lot to do but I am sure with some co-ordination on this blog, we can make it happen. On a less serious note, Leng… Girl! I’m so happy for you! I can’t believe it’s happening so fast — to think that the two of you just met a year ago… I still remember when we were baking blueberry muffins in cooking class, and we were talking about how nice it would be to get married before turning 30. 
Lucky girl! A bride at 29!
Tomorrow I will be speaking to the hotel banquet manager. The first order of the day is to tell him we won’t be using their default music selection consisting of the theme from the Huang Fei Hung movies and The Final Countdown by Europe.

You mean, jump the queue, Boon Huat. And Leng, that is quite impossible. The hotel is fully booked for the next six months and yours is a huge wedding with more than 50 tables. Why do you suddenly want to move it up anyway?

I quite like this idea of using a real life situation to ask users to speak Simple English. If Hui Leng does turn out to be pregnant after all, it would be quite a mundane ending with no twists. So before the subsequent episodes are posted, could the writers consider that?

I’m asking a fact here, not just indirectly or directly insulting you or whatsoever, but please is just a question here, if she turns out to be pregnant before the marriage, then we have no choice but to move the date to a nearer date before the baby is born, to avoid the law.
